WhatsApp Beta deploys the group icons generated by AI and Meta Ai Widget
WhatsApp has started testing two new features in the latest beta versions of its mail application for Android. The cat service, owned by Meta, has introduced a new widget that facilitates user access to its Meta AI chatbot without the need to open the application.
In addition, a feature that allows the creation of group icons generated by AI-AI is now available to select beta testers, allowing users to use Meta IA to generate and define group photos depending on the prompts.

These features should be deployed to all WhatsApp users on iOS and Android platforms in good time. After updating whatsapp beta for Android version 2.25.6.10 (as indicated by the Wabetainfo functional tracker), some beta testers will have access to a new option to generate images via Meta AI.
By selecting the pencil icon during the vision of an existing group icon, users will meet a fifth option entitled Create an AI image. When selecting the creation of AI images, users will be directed to a Meta AI prompt screen where they can enter a prompt and wait for the chatbot generation of several images, which they can then travel to select a new group icon.
In addition, the recent Whatsapp Beta update for Android version 2.25.6.14, which was published by the testers a few days ago, presented a new widget which can be placed on the home screen. This widget serves as a shortcut, allowing users to quickly access the Meta AI chatbot without having to launch WhatsApp first.
While Wabetainfo’s screenshot represents a larger widget with three selectable buttons – Meta AI, Camera and Voice – Gadgets 360 could only install a more compact version of the widget, which displays the Ask Meta AI button after the installation of Whatsapp Beta for the Android 2.25.6.14 version.
