US c. Google Antitrust Trial: updates
This ended the biggest antitrust technological test since the United States faced Microsoft in the 1990s-perhaps apart from the government Antitrust case targeting Google’s advertising activity – But this is also the start of the process. Now, lawyers for Google and the Ministry of Justice are competing for the decision, as well as what the company and its products must be done.
The DoJ argued that Google has concluded anti -competitive agreements with Apple and other companies for the main placement of its search engine. Google maintains that its dominant market share is the result of a higher product. The DoJ indicates that the options to resolve the situation include Google’s breakup to separate products like Chrome, Research and Android, but it can be some time until we hear about their full plan.
