The Softr code-free application manufacturer develops beyond AirTable databases
If you work for a small business and want to create a customer portal or an internal tool, it can be difficult to find the budget and resources to allocate a developer to this small project. While the company started originally as an interface above AirTable, the popular corporate database product, SOFTR announces some major changes of product for 2025.
Customers are no longer limited to airable for data storage. They can now use any third -party database to store and manipulate data, user -friendly solutions like Google Sheets and the concept of databases centered on developers like PostgreSql, MySQL and Mariadb.
“As we grow, we have noticed that there are tons of companies that simply have no data anywhere. These are all manual documents, pen and paper, emails, spreadsheets, all this. It is therefore a problem, “said the co-founder and CEO, Mariam Hakobyan, in Techcrunch.

Given focus on internal tools and portals, SOFTR has also built an authorization system. For example, you can create two user groups so that customers can only subject the forms and display certain data, while employees can display and modify all data between all customers.
