The new audio-technica cartilage conduction headphones offer a better battery life lifetime
Audio-Technica has announced a new version of its Cartilage conduction helmet with open ears The company claims to offer improved sound and better battery life. Headphones use technology similar to bone conduction headphones in companies like Shokz And Suunto But rather provide the sound through the softer cartilage around your ears. The approach always leaves the auditory duct open so that you can hear what is going on around you, but the headphones are more comfortable to wear and offer better sound separation.
Adio-Technica ATH-CC500BT2 is currently available in the United Kingdom for £ 119.00 and the rest of Europe for € 139. This represents about $ 145 at $ 150, but the company has not said if or when they could be available in the United States.
The technology behind the headphones is based on shared research for the first time in 2004 by Professor Hiroshi HosoiWho is now president of Nara medical university in Japan.
