Redmi K80 Ultra Rume
A recent disclosure of the digital cat station indicates that the next Redmi lighthouse, the K80 Ultra, can be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ chipset of Mediatek. However, the remarkable characteristic of this device should be its substantial battery, exceeding 7,000 mAh, which marks a significant improvement compared to its predecessors.

On the other hand, the K80 and K80 pro standard models are equipped with batteries of around 6,000 mAh. More specifically, the K80 includes a battery of 6,550 mAh with 90 W load capacities, while the PRO variant has a slightly reduced capacity of 6,000 mAh but benefits from the fast load of 120 W.
The leap into the battery capacity becomes even more pronounced compared to the K70 Ultra, which has a battery of 5,500 mAh; Thus, exceeding 7,000 mAh in the ultra K80 would represent a considerable improvement in the battery life.
Despite the largest battery, the leak suggests that the K80 Ultra will always support a fast load of 100W, guaranteeing effective load speeds. In addition, the device should include a 1.5K resolution display with a right screen design on four sides at Ultra-Narrow, probably using an OLED panel.
Regarding its design, the K80 Ultra is supposed to incorporate a central metal frame. The leak also alludes to the implementation of an “unique ultrasound wave”, involving the inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which can offer increased precision and reliability compared to traditional optics.
Redmi had previously launched the K70 Ultra, which is powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, in July 2024. This chronology suggests that the Redmi K80 Ultra should make its debut towards the same period this year. In addition, previous reports indicate that Iqoo, Realme and OnePlus are also preparing to introduce smartphones featuring the dimensity of Mediatek 9400+.

These devices are temporarily named iqoo neoo 10s pro, realme neo 7 pro and oneplus ace 5s. Among these, the Realme and OnePlus models would include an OLED resolution screen of 1.5K, an elegant flat design, an average metallic frame and a glass or fiberglass body.
