iPhone 17 Pro Max has changed for upgrading the major display; Here’s what to expect

Apple first unveiled the “Dynamic Island” feature with iPhone 14 Pro models, and speculation indicates that the next iPhone 17 Pro models can also include this innovation. A Weibo leak, known as the digital cat station, suggested that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a reduced size for the dynamic island.

This source also indicated that the same technology should be used in the next iPad Pro and a foldable iPad. Analyst Jeff Pu previously mentioned that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could present a “considerably narrowed dynamic island”.

However, this statement seems to be conflict with a report by Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that the iPhone 17 would not present a smaller dynamic island. The “dynamic island” was introduced by Apple in 2022 with the iPhone 14 Pro models and was also present in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models, without size modification in these versions.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series in September, with rumors suggesting the introduction of an ultra-thin iPhone 17 during the event. Apple CEO Tim Cook officially announced that the latest addition to the Apple range will be revealed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, as part of the hashtag #applelaunch, although the exact time is not specified.

This announcement should relate to the new iPhone SE model (2025), which was originally to be published earlier this week.
