Invite is a new free Apple application. Here’s how to use it.
Applehas a new application. Apparently launched from nowhere earlier this week, Apple invites is a free application, available on the App StoreThis allows you to create colorful invitations to events you can share with friends and family.
The application is very simple to use. Choose a background, define a title and a location for your event and you can start sending it to potential guests.

You can use your own photos or choose from Apple’s predefined backgrounds.

Although the application is free and everyone can freely receive invitations, a warning is that you can only send invitations if you have paid ICloud + Account. It is a disappointment, but it makes sense because the storage of invitations in the cloud consumes a storage space. The iCloud + Apple accounts start at $ 0.99 per month, and Apple now lists invitations as one of the advantages of the Subscription to iCloud + (others include Mason My Email, Secure Homekit and the Icloud private relay, as well as more storage for your data).
Apple invites: how it works
To create a new invitation, press the “+” button in the upper right corner of the Apple Private application. Start with the addition of a background; Apple allows you to choose from the predefined options that include backgrounds on the theme of emoji, photographic and colorful, but you can also use a photo of the library of your iPhone or take a photo with your camera, using the buttons at the top left of “add a background menu”.
Then define a title for your event, choose the date and time, and choose a location, which you can do by looking for real locations – and you can add an optional name for your location, which is useful if c ‘is your house.
You can also add an event description with a limit of 1,000 characters and the name of the host. Finally, you can create a photo album, as well as a Apple music playlistAnd share it with the participants.

It is not a real event. Please do not introduce yourself.

Once you are done, you can invite guests by creating a shareable link. And if you must send an update linked to the event to your guests – such as detailed entry instructions or the fact that all shrimp cocktails are unfortunately left – you can do it via the “Send” button a note “.
Apple Invites: Tips and tips
Everything above is quite simple, and I am sure you will have no problem creating and sharing your event. But the application has some easy -to -miss additional features.

For example, press an existing event in the application, then press the three -point menu in the upper right corner. From there, you can duplicate the event, which is practical when you organize repeated events, for example an advertising quiz on the theme of Pokémon in your basement every Wednesday.

Certain advanced options are hidden in event parameters.

For more options, press event settings of the same menu. There you can choose if customers need your approval before you can reach the event. You can also choose to display the background image to the guests after opening the invitation with a verified email address (maybe you don’t want someone to see how much your money -Sol is great). For people who use a screen player, you can provide a description of the background of your invitation.
Finally, you can also cancel and delete the event, as well as responses on a break (for the last time, there will be no free beer, people, and I will not entertain any other request).
There are also some other confidentiality options that are somewhat hidden in the application. For example, once there is a group of guests to come, you can give some of them the opportunity to invite their own guests to the event. Practical.

In addition, when you invite guests, you can create a public link that allows anyone to join the event, but you can also invite individual people with punctual links.
Apple Invite: Personalization of your notifications
When you organize events – especially if they are tall, and if you host more than one – things can become disorderly quickly. Apple invite allows you to obtain push notifications on events, but fortunately, this also allows you to be quite granular when it comes to choosing the types of notifications you want to see.

You may want to refine these.

Press your profile image in the Private application and press push notifications. From here, you can choose if you only want to see the notifications for the events you organize or the events to which you are invited.
You can also choose if you want to see Apple updates with recommendations, new features and advice and offers related to the application.
Go back and you can define if you wish to receive updates by e-mail on the events that you host or you are guest. It is not linked to push notifications, and you can have both on or at the same time.
Apple invites: how to get it
