In this article, we will guide you throughout the process of creating an event, adding an album or a shared reading list and sending your invitation to guests.
How to create an event invitation

You can create an event in Apple invites using the application on your iPhone or on the web on iCloud.com. Whatever way you choose, the process is essentially the same.
If you are on the application, you must press the panel more in the upper right corner to create an event. If you are on the web, you must select “new event” in the upper right corner.
From there, press the “Add a background” option, then choose “photos” to select an image in your library. Or, press the “Camera” option to take a new photo for the background. Apple also offers a selection of horizons you can choose.
Alternatively, you can use Apple’s image to produce original images for the background. To use the integration of the game image in Private, you will need an iPhone compatible with Apple IntelligenceWhich means you need an iPhone 15 pro and more.
Once you have added a background image, press “Title of the event” to enter the name of your event, then choose a police style.
Then press “Date and time” to choose the day and time that the event starts and ends. You can also choose to define it as an event all day. After setting a date, the weather forecast for this date will be added to the invitation.
Then press the “location” to search for a location or press a suggested location. You have the possibility of entering a name for a location, like “Emily’s House”. When you define a location, the invitations will automatically add the information on the Apple cards to the invitation.
Finally, you can enter a description of the event, using Apple Intelligence’s writing tools to help you write the description, if you wish. Again, your device will have to be compatible with Apple Intelligence in order to use the functionality.
Once you have created your event, you can press the “Preview” option to see what it looks like before sending it to your guests.
How to create an album or a shared reading list for your invitation to the event

While the above steps cover the basics of creating an invitation for an event, Apple offers two other features that can pass your invitations to the next level.
You can create a “shared album” where participants can contribute photos and videos from an invitation. The idea behind the functionality is to give participants a way to save their memories and relive the event later.
To do this, you need to press the “Create an album” option. The name of the shared album will be the name of the event, but you can change it if you wish.
You can also create an event soundtrack by selecting the “Add the Playlist” option. Participants can then choose to add songs to the Playlist before or during the event. It should be noted that you need an Apple Music subscription to create a shared playlist. As with shared albums, your playlist will have the name of your event, but you can modify it.
How to invite guests to your event

There are two ways to invite guests to your event. You can either share the invitation as a public link or send it to specific people on your contact list.
You must select “Inviting guests” to start sending invitations. If you select the “messages” or “email” applications, you can send a public link directly via these applications. If you select “Share Link”, you can send the invitation to guests via any application in your iOS sharing sheet. If you press “Copy the link”, you can stick the link for your invitation anywhere.
To invite a contact, press the “Choose a guest” option, search for a name or choose someone in your contact list, then share the link with them.
After creating an event and guests, you can share a note that everyone on the guest list can see. For example, you can let the guests know if you have changed the location of the event, or if you can send them a reminder to provide umbrellas if the forecasts call for the rain.
To do this, select your event, then press “Send a note”. Once you have written your note, press the “Send the note” button.
