How to recover Tiktok on your phone if you deleted it after the ban
Tiktok’s application is still working for people in the United States – as long as it is already on their phone. But if you have an iPhone, your options are more limited – and much more difficult to get around. We cover all of this below.
You can now download the Tiktok app directly on the company’s website, but not from the Google Play Store.
- Go to tiktok.com on your computer. You will see a QR code – scan it with your phone.
- Alternatively, you can visit this link directly from your phone: tiktok.com/download.
- You will have the choice of Tiktok Lite (a smaller version that takes 34.3 MB) and Tiktok (409 MB). The Lite version is intended for older and slower phones and to be used with slower internet connections. Select the one you want to download.
- Once the download is finished and you have selected OpenYou can get a review indicating that your phone is not allowed to install unknown applications and that you must change this in Parameters. There will be a link to your parameters in the opinion; Press it.

Keep in mind that if you are nervous at the idea of downloading applications from outside the Play Store, you can always access Tiktok using your browser. Simply follow the instructions of an iOS device below.
If you are on an iOS device that does not already have the Tiktok app, you can only get Tiktok via your web browser. (You can also try to use a VPN, but I will manage this in a minute.)
You also don’t have a chance if you have a new iPhone and have tried to transfer your existing Tiktok application from your previous phone – according to Apple assistance pageApplications “cannot be downloaded if you are deleted or restored if you go to a new device”. However, whether I used Tiktok in Safari or Chrome on an iPhone, I found that I was unable to create a video. Each time I was trying, I obtained an opinion that the site was trying to open another application (the camera of my iPhone) and when I hit AllowHe tried to go to the App Store to download the Tiktok apple.
This does not even mention the frustration of pop -ups and constant boosts telling me that I could “get the full experience of the application” by downloading the application – which, of course, was not available in Download.
When Tiktok initially disappeared, one of the main suggestions (In addition to going to another application) had to use a VPN to “deceive” your phone or computer by thinking that you were not in the United States. And if you are a creator of Tiktok who uses an iPhone, you do not seem to have many other alternatives at the moment, unless you find an iPhone that always has a work application or an Android.
Apple has a lot of Verification in place To ensure that users visit the right region’s app store. Move that involves jumping a lot of hoops and, ultimately, may not work – it is much more work than simply downloading a VPN and defining your location somewhere outside the United States.
I have not tried the VPN method myself, but people who claim to have cheated the App Store had to do a lot of steps:
- Create a new Apple identifier with a phone number from another country using a service such as Google Voice,, OpenOr Muffled.
- Find and install a VPN that can identify you as coming from this country. There is a variety of VPN available; Two who have been recommended to me by colleagues are Northern And Proton VPN.
- Define the region of your phone To match the region on your VPN.
- Get a valid payment method with a valid billing address for the country in which you pretend to be.
It is not a simple or infallible process, and some friends told me that they tried it and hit a wall somewhere along the line.
