Apple’s iPhone and foldable iPad could start production next year

The two initial foldable apparatus of Apple recently progressed in the introductory phase of the new product (NPI) to Foxconn. In a research note published today by GF Securities, analyst Jeff, said that mass production for these foldable devices should start in the second half of 2026.

He also mentioned that an early prototyping phase should start in April. Although specific details on the two devices have not been disclosed, it is likely that it refers to the first foldable iPhone of Apple, according to an interior display up to 8 inches, and a foldable iPad with a screen size of up to 19 inches.
