Apple advertising on Elon Musk’s X

Over a year ago, Apple deleted his ads x after Elon Musk Supported a series of anti-Semitic publications of far-right users on the social media platform. Above the same time, a new report revealed that advertisements of companies such as Apple were served on pro-Nazi content on X.

However, since November 2023, when Apple has stopped advertising on Musk’s X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, many things have happened. Namely, Donald Trump was again elected president, and this time Musk works essentially as his right man.

Now, about 15 months after Apple has interrupted its advertising expenses on X, Apple has returned to advertising on the platform.

MacRumors first noticed that Apple currently performs at least two different advertising campaigns on X. An advertisement, of the Official @apple x Account, promote the company’s safari web browser. The other announcement is executed on Apple @Appletv account For the Apple television series Breakup.

The announcements are currently not appearing on any of the X profiles of the accounts. But it is not unusual for Apple. X allows advertisers to promote regular publications as advertisements, which would appear on their profile page, or execute a message specifically as advertising, which does not appear on the advertiser’s profile page. When you perform ads on X, Apple has always used this last mechanism. However, for a user to observe these messages, X must disseminate the announcements.

As Macrumors points out, although Apple has interrupted its announcement campaigns, the CEO of Apple Tim Cook and other Apple leaders continued to maintain a presence on the Musk platform.

Although Apple has taken up advertisements on X, it is not clear what is the size of their current advertising campaigns. The Safari announcement, for example, has just over 600,000 impressions from the publication on February 13. reduced Marketing budget for advertising expenses for X.
