AMD partners are already on the scale of their “PDSF” 9070 and 9070 XT
If it is true that advice partners like Asrock, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire and XFX generally invoice more for cards with sophisticated cooling solutions, these are not the cards we are talking about today. We followed prices on ten specific models of AMD 9070 and AMD 9070 XT which were initially introduced to their PDSP of $ 550 and $ 600.
None of these cards are currently in stock with a retailer that we have checked – but some retailers have already changed their prices before new shipments. Here are the changes we have seen:
Not all retailers have changed the prices on each card. Best Buy, who has listed only one model of the 9070 and 9070 XT at the PDSF to start, has not yet changed these prices – although they are certainly still out of stock. (It also lists a pair of gigabyte cards in stock at PDSF.) Micro Center also lists three 9070 models and four 9070 XT models at PDSF, although everyone is out of stock.
On the NVIDIA front, there is not yet a lot of retailer / advisory partner during scalping, at least among the main American retailers. We follow six different models of $ 550 RTX 5070, three different models of $ 750 RTX 5070 TI and three different models of $ 1,000 RTX 5080 which were initially listed at MSRP prices. Best Buy, Newegg and Micro Center still list those they store at the PDSF today.
Last week, Amd told us That “we expect the cards to be available from several suppliers at $ 549 / $ 599”, and that other cards arrive. AMD has not said which partners or retailers of the board of directors would agree to offer cards at these prices, nor what little of these partners should sell at these prices before invoice more.
