There is a new name in charge of game efforts in Netflix. As Variety reportsThe streamer hired Alain Tascan as a new president of his game division, after being previously executive vice-president of game development at Fortnite Manufacturer’s epic games. The news comes from the former boss of the game division, Mike Verdu, moved in a different role in Netflix focused on a new team “at the forefront of game innovation”.
In his previous role at Epic, which he has occupied since 2018, Tascan was in charge of the production of the company, which included not only Fortnite And its different modes like LEGO Fortnite but also other live service games like Rocket league And Fall guys. In a statement, Tascan explained that he had played the role in streamer because “I firmly believe that Netflix is only placed to redefine the future of the game”.
