Adobe unveils a video generator AI to compete with Openai and Google

Adobe has launched its AI video generation tool for all users via the newly introduced Firefly web application. This initiative positions Adobe to compete with established players such as Openai, Google and Meta, who previously unveiled their own AI video models.

The new tool allows users to produce videos generated by AI of up to five seconds in a complete HD resolution (1080p), with plans for a lower resolution option for quick iterations and a 4K version for Professional users to be published soon.

Although these videos will not include audio, users can create them using text prompts or using images. Adobe indicated that users will have the possibility of adjusting key parameters, including the aspect ratio, the composition of the shooting (such as close -ups and wide plans), camera angles, frequencies of images and motion effects such as zoom or inclination.

In addition, while the videos themselves remain silent, Firefly offers a translation tool based on AI which can convert the existing audio in more than 20 languages while maintaining the natural voice of the speaker.

David Wadhwani, president of Adobe’s digital media division, expressed his enthusiasm about comments from beta users, describing him as a transformer to conceptualize ideas and produce impressive videos, and he can’t wait to see how the creative community Use this tool to share their stories.

Adobe says that the Firefly video generator is designed in thinking about commercial security, allowing businesses and professionals to integrate it into their workflows without legal problems. The company stresses that all of its AI models are only trained on adobe actions and public license content, avoiding any material generated by users.
