Honor would have developed a smartphone to compete with the Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung recently provided an overview of its ultra-clien Galaxy S25 edge. In the same vein, Honor enters the market for bar phones. A recent leak from the Weibo Tipster digital cat states that honor is working on a 6.3-inch compact phone which is also described as “ultra-thin”.

The brand has already attracted attention with its exceptionally thin book foldable book devices, which makes it intriguing how thin this new compact phone will be and how it will affect its sustainability. This development marks a change in the smartphones industry, where manufacturers again focus on compact, thin and light conceptions.

However, DCS did not reveal more details on the phone beyond its display size. Speculation suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S25 edge has just 5.84 mm thick, weighs 162 grams and should cost $ 999.

Despite its premium aesthetics, Samsung would limit initial production to 40,000 units, reflecting the niche market for ultra-thin devices today. The honor initiative should inspire other Chinese manufacturers to continue the creation of thin aircraft, which potentially leads to more innovative and friendly offers.
