The GTA 6 PC version is not at the launch, but to come later, claims a new report
Grand Theft Auto 6 is officially ready to go out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / X in the fall of 2025, although PC players can face a longer wait for the title.
Historically, Rockstar Games tends to start its games on current generation consoles before later publishing a PC version several years later. Although there is no final chronology for the PC launch of GTA 6, Take-Two Interactive, the Rockstar parent company, said that the highly anticipated game will eventually be available on this platform.

In a recent interview with IGN, Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, referred to the Rockstar model to publish games on additional platforms after their first console launch.
“With CIV 7, it is available on the console, the PC and the switch simultaneously. However, for other titles in our range, we do not always publish on all platforms at the same time.
Historically, Rockstar began with certain platforms, then spread to others, “Zelnick told IGN before calling for the third quarter of 2025.
Take-Two remains “ very optimistic ” on the release of GTA 6’s Fall 2025
Zelnick’s comments were made in the context of Civilization 7 discussion, a turn -turn strategy game of Firaxis Games which was published on February 11 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series Sries / X.

Traditionally, Rockstar Games has delayed the release of its titles on PC for a few years. For example, Grand Theft Auto 5 was launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, followed outings on PS4 and Xbox One in November 2014.
The PC version, however, did not arrive until April 2015, almost two years later, with updates and new features.
On the other hand, the PC version of the last Rockstar title, Red Dead Redemption 2, was published more quickly. The game made its debut on PS4 and Xbox One in October 2018, with the PC version after a year later in November 2019.
