With the integration of Deepseek-R1, Honor promises significant progress in performance. Emphasis is placed on improving natural language treatment capacities, in order to make Yoyo more reactive and more aware.
In addition, improvements in logical reasoning and deeper contextual understanding are provided as key contributions from Deepseek-R1. In the end, Honor aims to offer a more intuitive experience, to manage complex tasks with greater efficiency and to offer a more intelligent and more personalized interaction.
The company highlights the importance of the transparent commitment of users. Users in China can access the Yoyo updated by sliding from their device to the “AI AI” section and selecting “Deepseek-R1”.

The deployment should start on February 8 and will be available to honor smartphones users in China operating on Magicos 8.0 or later. It is important to note that to activate Deepseek upgrading, users must update the Yoyo application to the 80.0.1.503 or more version. Currently, this upgrade is exclusive for China, and it remains uncertain if Honor intends to extend it to international markets.
In addition, honor X9C could soon be launched in India, because the company began to tease its introduction into the country. The smartphone was initially unveiled in certain world markets in November 2024, and the design presented in the teaser seems to correspond to that of the world version.
The Indian variant of the next smartphone should share similar specifications. It is likely to succeed the honor X9B, which was launched in India in February 2024, with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SOC and a design side IP53.
